[XFree86] can't startx

I've been running dual boot WinXP and Mandrake 9.2 for about a month with no problems.  I made some changes to lilo which I thought would only affect the lilo.conf file and the bootloader (which appears to work fine), but now I can't start X.

 

I attached copies of some of the relevant files for your perusal.
