Since you are using XFree86 4.3, that card will work with either the "nv" driver that came with 4.3 or with NVIDIA's binary drivers. The problem in both cases would be that you seem to have misspecified the monitor specifications in the /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 file: (II) NVIDIA(0): Dell 1600X Laptop Display Panel: Using hsync range of 59.00-85.0 0 kHz (II) NVIDIA(0): Dell 1600X Laptop Display Panel: Using vrefresh value of 1.00 Hz which are nonsensical.
