If anyone from the list is interested - everything is here: http://sourcepole.ch/tpo/x/XFree86.0.log - the X log /XF86Config-4 - X config /config-2.4.22 - linux config A few notes: I've tried to switch on/off both "CyberShadow" and "ShadowFB", without any visible/percievable change. The linux kernel has VESA framebuffer on. The kernel trident FB driver would give me either psychadelic effects or only a small square in the middle of the screen where text would get displayed. So I'm using VESA FB, which works. *t > On Mon, Sep 08, 2003 at 09:27:59AM +0200, Tomas Pospisek wrote: > > On Sun, 7 Sep 2003, Alan Hourihane wrote: > > > > > Try the drivers at > > > > > > http://www.xfree86.org/~alanh > > > > These are the ones I did use. > > *t > > > > > On Sun, Sep 07, 2003 at 09:41:07PM +0200, Tomas Pospisek wrote: > > > > First thanks for the driver, it lets me use my Toshiba Laptop. > > > > > > > > What doesn't work though is viewing anything with xine: > > > > > > > > x version > > > > driver 4.2.x 4.3.0 > > > > ----------------------- > > > > xv crash sloooooow > > > > xshm crash sloooooow > > > > x11 crash crash > > > > > > > > slow means maybe one or two frames per second when viewing a quicktime > > > > video, with the window being about 200x200 dots in size. > > > > > > > > Can there be anything done to make viewing videos on the CyberBlade XPAi1 > > > > usable?
