[XFree86] X server crashing (4.3.0)

On my Dell Optiplex GX260 (Red Hat 9), I am seeing random X server 
crashes. It appears that a screen saver locks up the X server, and 
there is no obvious way to restart it short of rebooting. I haven't 
found this problem on the  public mailing lists.

I'm attaching the last 2 logs (the .old appears to be the one with the 
crash).
