Hi. I have just installed Mandrake Linux 9.1, and can't seem to get my KDE working. At the very installation screens of Linux I had problems with choosing my ATI Radeon 7500 card on a Plug and Play monitor. The Mandrake has only 2 options for ATI Radeon - ATI Radeon, and ATI Radeon 8500. I choose the ATI Radeon only, and when I choose the Plug and Play monitor (my monitor is detected as Plug and Play under Windows XP, and works just fine), the system says that it cannot detect it. I anyways skip this step, and continue installing Lunix. When I reboot, Linux starts, but goes in text mode. I login as "root" and try to start KDE, but I get a message that there are no Supported Modes. Any suggestions will be of much help. Thank you. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
