"BadShmSeg" error

Hello all,

I've been having problems with KDE transparency since some time.
Instead of displaying the darkened background picture, it's a garbled
version of it.
And I got those errors in /var/dt/Xerrors:
konsole: WARNING: KDE detected X Error: BadAccess (attempt to access
private resource denied) 10
   Major opcode:  147
konsole: WARNING: KDE detected X Error: BadShmSeg (invalid shared
segment parameter) 187
   Major opcode:  147

It used to work perfectly, but I can't define what made it go wrong.
I think it was around when I upgraded to the mit-shm patch of XFree
4.2.1 (which would seem related), but I recompiled without it, and got
the same problem, so I'm a bit puzzled.

I'm currently running XFree86 4.2.1 on Solaris 8 x86 w/ MU and last patches.

TIA,

Laurent
