Hello Newbie list Does anyone know if there are tweaks to get X and KDE desktop to start-up faster? I have an older 200 MHz laptop that I still find useful but it takes 50 seconds to startx. The machine has 256 M RAM and usually start linux in run level 2 (RH7.2).
