problem setting up DRI on XFree86 and FreeBSD

Hi,

I'm running FreeBSD 4.6.2 and a few day ago I installed XFree86 via
"portinstall -RF XFree86". The graphic card is an ATI XPert 2000 (Rage 128).
Everything seems to be fine .., I then tried to set up "DRI" according 
to the documentation.

Running "glxinfo" I get following information:

Thne I tried running "glxgears" and got the following errors:
(glxgears) uid0: exited on signal 4 (core dumped)


Then I defined LIBGL_DEBUG and executed "glxgears":

I've no idea what's wrong.

Any hints how to resolve this problem ?
