I would if I could. But for my distro (gentoo) there is no 3.3.6. This is only the last possibility for me because I will surely break my own update-system of my distro with binaries or even src-tarballs that aren't forged for exactly my system. It has to do with the "portage"-rsync stuff of gentoo.
However I still don't believe that there is no configuration solution for xfree4. I mean: ct65545 is supported by the chips driver. I just don't know enough about it.
