Provided you have other desktop managers installed...you can go into Mandrake control Center,under boot config and do a few things there...preferably start X upon boot...then theres the autologin with the user/desktop preferred..Ive found that if you like to use more than one manager( I like Icewm and KDE3 myself) the best thing to do is disable autologin....then when you reboot you get an X login screen with a dropdown list of whatever window managers you have installed....pick your preference and login:) _______________________________________________ Newbie@XFree86.Org *** To unsubscribe , or change message options, see: http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/newbie
