Hi, Sorry, I'm a mac-head and new to all of this so this might be a bit of a dumb question :-( I'm running Xwindows with redhat 7.2. I'm using forte (IDE from sun) to code java however unless i'm logged in as root i get an error on starting forte: XLib: Client is not authorised to connect server XLib: cannot login with :0.0 i can't seem to find where to give my dev account permissions to the xserver. can anyone please help ?
