Hi
I have Windows XP installed on an NEC with AMD athlon 2000. It has an
onboard GeForce2 graphics card. This PC is attached to a Sony flat
screen LCD monitor, SDM-N80 (1280x1024 native resolution, 91.2kz x 85Hz). I have installed VMWARE 3.1 workstation for
Linux redhat 7.3. Everything went smoothly. I logon under linux text
mode no problems. I have then followed the manuals instructions to
install VMware tools.
When I try to start X to use linux in graphics mode, a graphics window
opens but I cannot do anything in it. Windows XP works fine still but I
have to power off and then on to get back into linux. I have attached
the log file of XFree86.0.log and the corresponding config file. Can you
please help me.
Thanks in advance for your assistance.
Khaled
