LCD screen setup

I installed RedHat 7.3, all works OK except for my Iiyama AS4431D LCD-screen. I am unable to get it working on its native 1240x1024 resolution. When I run Xconfigurator, it recognizes my ATI AIW 128 Pro video-card (32MB) and my screen, but I can only get it working properly on 1024x768 resolution. If I try 1240x1024 I get a mixed-up screen - vertically partially duplicated windows - mouse working only on some part of the screen. The read-out of my AS4431D OSD gives H : 31.8K and V : 39.5 which is very low (under XP H: 91.2K and V:85.1)

Any suggestions appreciated

Thanks in advance
