[Newbie]Setting videoram for ATI all in wonder pro

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi,

I have an ATI all in wonder pro which ran fine under
Suse 6.4/XFree86 3x

I have upgraded to Suse 8/XFree86 4 and I am having
trouble when using xatitv to watch video (cursor and pixmap
garbled). In XFree 3.x I used the line VideoRam 7328 in my
XF86Config, but it does not seem to be recognized in XFree 4?

Section "Device"
  BoardName "Mach64"
  BusID "1:5:0"
  Driver "ati"
  Identifier "Device[0]"
  Screen 0
  VendorName "ATI"
  VideoRam 7328
EndSection

any ideas? Below is part of my XFRee0.log
