I'm new to Linux and XFree86 and all this stuff. I have RH 7.2 right now and my video card is the ATI AIW Radeon 32M DDR. I don't know what version of XFree86 I'm running (if in fact I am even running it). I got Xine to work so I can watch DVDs I guess. But, mainly, I want to be able to watch and record tv. I tried kwintv and zapping, but neither of those work. I don't know how to recompile my kernel. So, as you can tell, I am extremely new and I'm going to need quite a bit of help. This tv thing is one of the main things keeping me from using linux more often. I also need to configure my micro$oft mouse. It's the usb intellimouse explorer. I want to be able to use all the buttons. I hope you guys can help. Also, now that RH 7.3 is out, how do I upgrade? Can I just use the Update Agent? It's been busy the past few days.
