Get the new driver on http://www.xfree86.org/~alanh/ And replace the old one at /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers This dosen't solve a lot of problems that happens with trident driver (I can't place SDL apps outside of screen visible area or use full screen sometimes without getting a complete system freeze), but kinda of works...
