XFree86-4.2.0-6.62 (Redhat's Skipjack Beta)
Generic 1600x1200 Laptop Display selected

This happens for me in both Gnome and KDE. I have a Sony PCG-GRX570, with
an ATI Radeon Mobility M7, 32 Meg, and a 1600x1200 LCD. I can run KDE or
Gnome with
no problems, but if I Ctrl-Alt-F# to bounce to a virtual console, and then
Alt-F7 back, my X screen scrambles at the top 3/4 inch, and locks the
machine totally.

In other words X starts up great the first time, and runs flawlessly, but I
can't Alt-F7 back in without locking up the machine.

Suggestions????

Thanks,

Ed
