Would anyone know if there is a shell-script designed to run like either the graphical or text-driven xf86config programs, that would check to make sure consistencies were in place (such as ~/.xinitrc, /etc/ttys and so forth)? By the same token, is there a send-pr type of command to send a bug or problem report in automatically, that would attach the most-recently used XF86Config file, dmesg information, and the /var/log/XFree86.0.log file? I think people would gladly pay a per-incident fee for these, or at least for the service of interpreting the logfile and error messages! -- Peter Leftwich President & Founder Video2Video Services Box 13692, La Jolla, CA, 92039 USA +1-413-403-9555
