[Newbie]Funny situation with X server crashing (resolved)

I've had the same problem before. I tracked it down to a web-page with a java-script that opened a maximized window and played a flash-movie in it.
The problem is probably due to some bug in Netscape when the java-script wants to get the screen-resolution (guess..)

Try a newer version of Netscape.

hard to tell without any output logs.
