I've just installed Xfree86 4.2 with the minimum components on my mac OSX 10.1.4 system. All seemed to go well, and it does work. However, I can't open a connection to another machine - or more precisely, I can't open a connection to my mac from another machine. I'm getting the following: cers00 (grad/jhorn) 101 > xterm -d 24.128.204.204:0.0 Xlib: connection to "24.128.204.204:0.0" refused by server Xlib: No protocol specified Error: Can't open display: 24.128.204.204:0.0 cers00 (grad/jhorn) 102 > NOTES: 1) 24.128.204.204 is my mac 2) XDarwin was running 3) this command was typed on the other machine (of course) This command has always worked with other X server apps (Tennon's Xtools) running on my Mac. Can anyone help? Do I need to somehow give permission to open connections? What's wrong? Thanks in advance! Jason
