As long as we made sure that the emphasis was on polite emails requesting that they do this. Also, we should probably try to offer suggestions for main points that could be customized by the individual mailers: I get the impression that cut-n-paste verbatim copied emails don't carry much wait. In fact, I've been told that the best thing is a snail-mail letter. Yeah, I know, a pain in the butt, however the reasoning is that companies are much more impressed when someone has gone to the trouble of applying their own spittle to the envelope. The Linux-Advocacy-HOWTO may have some good tips if we decide to do this. -Oisin
