hi: Thanks for information. The Display Driver is Trident CyberBlade ALi Display Adapter. the other question here is that, when I use sh Xinstall.sh -check I was told that no binary distribution exists. But I search the web, some guy told me that he successfully make it work. Do I need to compile source code? thanks bo sun --- ofeeley@yahoo.com wrote: > On Wed, 17 Apr 2002, Bo Sun wrote: > > I just installed XFree86 4.2 on redhat 7.2, my > laptop > > is toshiba satellite 1805-s274. > [snip] > > and get the following error messages: > > > > "Could not load the shared library file for Glide: > > "libglide2x.so"". > > Hi Bo Sun, > I have no idea what a toshiba satellite 1805-s274 > contains as its Graphics > Accelerator/Card.
