You are correct James, D'OH! I have been thinking in M$ too darn much. Perhaps I could trouble you for another inspiring answer to a newbie jr. question. After I expanded an archive file using "tar -zxvf" I tried to run ./configure to "make" and then "make install" I received the error "bash :no such file or directory" And I know I am in the proper directory that the archive was expanded in. I got "Xconfigurator" to come up and the probing found my video card "ATI Rage 128" and Monitor "KDS VS-70" just fine, but it fails to complete the configuration. What else may be wrong with it? Thanks again for your help. I really need to get this working because I need this box for a radius server. The command is "Xconfigurator", not "xconfigurator". Linux is case-sensitive. ===== -- I am a fool for Christ. Mostly I am a fool. -- __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
