Hello, all:

I am configuring XFree86-4.2.0 on a FreeBSD 4.5 box. Currently, I have
tried:

using the <auto> protocol and </dev/mouse> device, and creating a
symlink:

ln -s /dev/mouse /dev/usm0

but to no avail. I have read the XFfree86 installation docs, a tutorial on
configuring X, and the FreeBSD XFree86 chapter. Can anyone help me
find documentation specific to this problem?

Much obliged,

Joshua Lokken

PS: I have successfully set up X3.3.6 with the graphical configuration
tool. Any idea when 4.x may have a similar tool?
