So you're getting things like this in your HTML output? <h2>Hello <?php echo $firstname; ?>! Just raw without the PHP code being interpretted? Sounds odd.. you could try the output buffering as someone else recommended. Or store all your HTML in a variable so it all gets processed before you output. Or worst case scenario, try saving it all to a temporary file, but then you have to worry about cleaning up old files. You probably don't have to do that. Still, if you are getting raw PHP in your output, then I think almost any of these are going to end up with at least a raw "echo $output" type thing. I'm guessing something else is wrong.
