all I know is that <? ?> are not XML compliant and you are advised to use
<?php ?> instead...

Hello.
I just did a 'manual' installation of php on my winxp. A very weird
(maybe)
problem encountered. It doesn't 'recognize' <? ?> tags. but it recognizes
<?php ?> tags. Clueless. Someone please help me out.
