Thanks for that ... using ISAPI instead of CGI worked first time. However
(there is always a however, aint there?), PHP executes the pages OK, but at
the bottom of each page, I receive this message:

"PHP has encountered an Access Violation at 010173CD"

Anyone else? Permissions, perhaps?
