I'm having problem with charsets in connection with MS SQL Server 2000. I've read that it requires version 8.0 of the FreeTDS library - which is at the heart of the php_mssql extension, as I understand it. I'm using php 4.3.2, i.e. using a php_mssql extension based on FreeTDS v7 (phpinfo() tells me). Which version of PHP has / is planned to have version 8.0 of FreeTDS included in the mssql extension ?
