I know for a while Wine had a bug about that UrlCache thing ("Don't know what to do" etc.) and would keep things from working until you so happened to hit it when the cache was clear or whatever (know this from installing ChemDraw). If you try repeatedly does it work eventually? I thought that bug was fixed, though.
