Hello everyone. I've installed wine in linux mint. and attempted to play some games. I'm getting some weird results with the graphics. An image can explain in the best, so I took a screenshot. When I run the just about any game through wine I get these "fractured" graphics (view attached picture). Fonts are illegible and the graphics themselves are very pointy and have weird edges coming out of them. I know that wine has worked for me to play games on the exact same hardware, but I'm not sure what is happening this time. Image: [Image: http://i.imgur.com/mdykR.png ] My video card: ATI HD 5770 Wine version: 1.2.3 cat /proc/version: Linux version 2.6.38-8-generic (buildd@allspice) (gcc version 4.5.2 (Ubuntu/Linaro 4.5.2-8ubuntu3) ) #42-Ubuntu SMP Mon Apr 11 03:31:24 UTC 2011 cat /etc/issue: Linux Mint 11 Katya \n \l My graphics drivers are the latest I could get. I have tried installing several windows .dlls (msxml, mono etc.) via winetricks. I also intalled direct x through winetricks. Also, trying to run the programs similar to "wine Wow.exe -opengl" is not helping. If anyone could point me in the right direction for what I am overlooking, I would be hugely grateful.
