Thanks for your answer. According to it, I seem to have forgotten some details. My app is not a game or similar, it's kind of a chat server, and I doubt it uses too much of graphic and sound resources. Also when doing the tests I always install it in a clean prefix with no winetricks, all default settings in winecfg and visual effects turned off (man, I don't even think I have compiz itself installed). What do you think?
