I didn't had to use winetricks xact to get it working. I think that Steam do it for me at first run. Do you running it from Steam or is this version from GamersGate. If you have it on Steam than start it from there. Oh and you should install vcrun2005 with winetricks. I saw that you already done this with vcrun2008. This game requiers also DirectX dlls to get it working (atleast Steam put some in system32).
