The OP uploaded a copy of the software to a private server and posted a link to it here. Vitamin deleted that post, and that's what he was referring to as illegal, not Dan's posting of the legitimate download links.
Thank you for the clarification and correction. At this point, the OP
is wrong for doing so and should have just posted the links like Dan did.
