Do yourself a favor, and return it. It's never going to run Wine. Ever.
I recommend a Mac Pro instead. Macs Pro have Intel processors in
them--which *can* run Wine. If you want one cheap (relatively speaking),
look for a 2006 model.

Darwine used to include an x86 emulator (based on QEMU) so that PPC Macs
could run x86 Windows apps. That project has since been abandoned.
Unless you're interested in working on it, *you have to have an Intel
CPU in your Mac to run Wine*.
