I have recently been trying to install RCT2 on my Mac (OSX 10.5). I have attempted both Wine (1.3.9) and CrossOver, both of which hit the same error when I attempt to run the game:
"The program rct2.exe has encountered a serious problem and needs to close."

Currently, I am using the "Emulate a virtual desktop" option in wine as that seems to be standard from what I have collected from various posts. Other than that, I have tried other things but most of the options have been returned to their standard settings.
I also have a slightly different situation from most other users as I am not running RCT2 from a disc, I have a digital copy. Not sure if that will make a difference in the end.
