I just tried to install Steam through Wine and PlayOnLinux. It installed successfully, but hung on the client update. I try to start Steam.exe with the command 'wine steam.exe' as well as the PlayOnLinux launcher. The window pops up for a moment, saying 'Connecting account', which then goes away and the program pops up an error message after about the money. Any ideas? Would the timezone error actually be causing this and how could I fix it? Here is the log of what is happening: fixme:ntdll:find_reg_tz_info Can't find matching timezone information in the registry for bias 600, std (d/m/y): 7/11/2010, dlt (d/m/y): 14/03/2010 fixme:process:GetLogicalProcessorInformation ((nil),0x32e48c): stub fixme:process:GetLogicalProcessorInformation (0x10b0c00,0x32e48c): stub CellID: Fetching server list from CSDS. . . fixme:process:SetProcessShutdownParameters (00000100, 00000000): partial stub. fixme:urlmon:CoInternetSetFeatureEnabled 5, 0x00000002, 1, stub fixme:urlmon:CoInternetSetFeatureEnabled 10, 0x00000002, 1, stub fixme:dwmapi:DwmSetWindowAttribute (0x1009a, 2, 0x32d334, 4) stub fixme:dwmapi:DwmSetWindowAttribute (0x1009a, 3, 0x32d338, 4) stub fixme:dwmapi:DwmSetWindowAttribute (0x1009a, 4, 0x32d33c, 4) stub CellID: CSDS returned 170 servers.
