Update: There is a quite lengthy thread on POL usage and what they are
doing. Per the POL maintainer, you should route problems through the
package maintainer for the program you are using IF it uses patches. If
not, hang on as they are trying to move to the winetricks Microsoft
package installer. Yes, POL does some things to make installing
programs easier for you, but they do make things harder for the Wine
developers to maintain and for POL users to get help.
