hopefully you understand that whether or not these commands will work for you depends on the flavor you're running. If you chose ubuntu then use Code: sudo aptitude purge wine to completely and entirely remove wine and all it's settings Then you can use Code: sudo apt-get install wine To reinstall it Hopefully you will look closer and pay more attention to what you're doing when you shove a bunch of code into places most unwholesome. I can also not think of a reason you would need both PlayOnLinux AND wine. It should work with one or the other.
