I downloaded and installed DBabble 2.9i, and was able to create an account and log in as a guest without installing any native dlls whatsoever. My testing was admittedly limited, but everything I clicked on or typed in seemed to be working. I did run it in an emulated virtual desktop. This is in Wine 1.3.4.
