I have lots of disk. I have OpenOffice installed, but not for the wine environment. Thanks for the clues. I will get back to this forum when I have any progress to report. Right now, I am trying an experiment with SimCity4. I am running it on OpenGL rather than DirectX, and it seems to be better, so far. But that's for a different thread.
