This might be why it is not in the base Wine code. Should I do this for all games? There is a problem with not allowing the mouse to leave the window when you are using virtual desktops. This is that the mouse's actions are trapped to the size of that window when you are not in it. This is a major reason that the mouse fix has not been accepted in many forms. It would be great if a fix could be found that only applies to the current Wine session that releases when switching to a different application (say you suspend the game (pause it) and switch to respond to a mail message and then switch back to the game, the mouse should have full range of the screen at this time.) > >In CS:S even though when I test my mic in the options it plays back fine, online people >can hear my voice but they report the quality is very, very poor and it's hard to make >out what it is I'm saying. Could be any number of things, but I would suspect your Internet connection first. I have problems when I use a Wireless WAN connection, but when I'm connected to the Internet via a wired connection the problem goes away. Again, switching to Lucid is not suggested because of your comment above on pulseaudio. James McKenzie
