James means (I believe), that you download and install to a normal Windows partition, then backup (burn) the install folder to a DVD. Return to Linux, copy the backup install back to a Linux partition, then proceed as above to let Wine know that it's installed and see if it runs. My apologies for the confusion; I haven't upgraded past XP and totally forgot about Vista and Win 7 as a possible secondary problem.
