I followed the tutorial for the optimal build as was recommended, and it did not help. In fact, Wine seems more fragile now... 1 out of every 4 times or so, it will simply crash and cause Ubuntu to sign me out. Once I have run WoW once, I must fully restart the computer before I can attempt to run it again. It is my inclination to follow the tutorial for undoing the process. However, when I had apt upgrading everything as the tutorial requested, I noticed that wine got an upgrade slipped into the pack as well. When I check its version in Synaptic, I can't tell the difference, but I know something happened. Was a new release just let out that might be the cause of the crashing? DaVince (or anyone who can speak on this), do you think it would be a good idea to try the "bleeding edge configuration"?
