Hi All,

I have several customers on CentOS 5.x. CentOS being
what it is, Wine is sorely out of date. So I compile my
own. I would dearly love to not have to do this on
every machine.

Is there a way I can "roll my own" RPM for reuse on the
other machines?

Many thanks,

If I am not mistaken, you can, as per the GPL, redistribute Wine in whichever way you wish -- that includes RPMS, DEBS and BANANAS. If you are asking how to do it (how to make the RPM)...I really think that this is not the place for you to ask such a question -- google creating RPMs or ask in the appropriate forums. I think someone makes RPMs for Wine, maybe he/she could giive you some tips? ;)

Man I have looked all over the web. The best I can find is Mike
Harris' site: http://www.linux.org.uk/~mharris/pub/el/5/i686/

I was hoping of someone that knew of a script that wrapped
around the install and created an RPM for me. I have to have
to compile it over and over ....
