Sometimes I can see the desktop cursor, but that's not very precise as far as pointing is concerned. > > I have a 128 mb video card (ati radeon 9200) and I am on the latest stable version of wine (1.0.1?) and I'm on mint gloria (v. 7) > > fyi, i haven't gone past the login screen. > > Any possible way to fix this? > > thanks in advance. Hi, The AppDB entry for your game doesn't sound too good... http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=13035 You are using an ATI card which usually has faulty drivers, do you have Direct 3D Acceleration? Also, have you turned off/disabled any 3D effects? Also, be sure to try to run the game in an emulated desktop (configurable via winecfg) and see if it works that way. Could what you described be related, by any chance, to the checkerboard of doom ( http://ati.cchtml.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1173 ) ? Cheers, Jorl17
