While it may be an issue of your modules, I recommend you to try to change the screen resolution of the game. Play with it a bit to see if it helps you in any way. Also

I also searched and found this: http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=7516

Try messing with OffScreenRendering, it might also help.

Upgrade your Wine, it might help.

Additionally, check the AppDB, they also advise you to do many things and give you some clues (I would ignore what they say about manually setting the resolution to 1024x768, but that's just me): http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=3438

That entry points, in part, to these bugs:
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6351
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=19194

While they both seem to be related to your symptoms, the first seems to be the culprit of it all.

Good Luck,
