Das Letzte Einhorn Many thanks for your kind reply. I downloaded Wine from the Ubuntu 9.04 repository and then went to Apple for the iTunes download. When asked I said that I wanted the download opened with Wine. Up to that point everything appeared to work OK. Wine was added to my applications list but when I attempted to access iTunes it was no where to be seen. I am offered Programs which extend out to notepad, browse C drive, Configure Wine & Uninstall. It would possibly appear that I have not explained my needs properly as if Wine is asking me to browse C drive it is thinking Windows. I do not have Windows on this laptop only Ubuntu. What I was hopeful of was that by using Wine I could then work with iTunes without having to involve Windows at any stage of the operation. From what I have seen this does not appear to be the case. Can you please confirm my suspicions that I will have to beg borrow or steal a Windows machine to use iTunes. If I have got this wrong and can in fact achieve my aim can you please take me by the hand and walk me through the procedure. Again thanks for your assistance in this matter
