An application in wine was scanning the entire filesystem (through Z: drive) and it activated the watchdog device file occassionally, without further maintaining accesses to it, so the kernel rebooted the system because of the failed software watchdog. Running the app as user would prevent to access the watchdog file, so the system would stay stable. With regards, Pavel Troller
