Hallo wine user team, I am not sure if I need an original XP version to work with wine. In other words. Can I use wine without installing XP, for example. Because I have several old applications, which I would like to run on linux together with wine. Would wine emulates the hardware like a virtual machine, or takes wine the local hardware to deal with?
