and then:

wine notepad

And switch keyboard to Hebrew on the desktop (KDE)

no type on notepad window.

When I type, errors on shell window:

err:keyboard:X11DRV_ToUnicodeEx Please report: no char for keysym 0CEB (hebrew_kaph) :

Perhaps a stupid question, but what happens if you set up your linux
user with whatever language/locale/keyboard you want, and then run
winecfg, followed by wine?
